I believe she's from a former "behind...Zlata rocks!<BR/> I believe she's from a former "behind the iron curtain" country, and there seem to be more than the average number of extreme contortionists from the region.<BR/>I would theorize that comes ffrom the old days of communism and olympic achievements. The people of the former USSR and her Warsaw Pact satellites had few avenues to pursue individual excellence, some things they took great pride in and were world class (or by themselves were on top) were aerospace, the olympics, and the ballet. I can only imagine people like Zlata, who came along too late for state sponsored reward,but was surely motivated by family and society to be the best Gumby around, are caught in between the past and future. <BR/>I've often wonsered if the positions she puts herself in are painful.
