fetish fashion guide for the imagination

wonder how kinky a computer generated virtual world can be and want to find out without actually logging in? then pop over too Second Life Fetish Fashion and read up on the all the new shiny pixels that can be worn by your avatar.

does Second Life fetishism lead to real life fetishism? a chicken and egg question for sure.

what i am fascinated by is designers who create in second life to then make the same clothes a reality in the solid meat world. i've already seen the opposite - the famous Slinky Skin (NSFW) bubble head and torpedo tits appearing in world. their free site is updated more regularly.

please post if you know of anyone going from virtual to real.

bob carlos clarke - RIP

here's the start of a feature length article on one of my favourite photographers Bob Carlos Clarke who pioneered a considerable amount of latx and fetish imagery into both fashion and advertising.

The naked truth about Bob Carlos Clarke
In 2006 the legendary photographer Bob Carlos Clarke threw himself under a train - a dramatic end to a troubled life. He left behind a portfolio of iconic images. Simon Garfield sheds light on the dark mind behind the lens

On 25 March 2006, the photographer Bob Carlos Clarke checked himself out of the Priory Hospital in Barnes, southwest London, walked a short distance to a railway track, and jumped in front of a train. He was 55, and it was a terrible end to a complex life. But, as endings go, it was not an entirely surprising one.

Carlos Clarke was best known as a photographer of women in a state of undress, a subject that obsessed him long before he took up a camera. But his reputation - as "Britain's answer to Helmut Newton" - hints at only a fraction of his talent (or his potential talent), and suggests none of the turmoil that governed his career. How else to describe him? He was fastidious about control in his professional life but reckless in his private one. He wrestled continuously in the gulf between commerce and art. He was terrifically explosive company. He was his own worst enemy.

liverpool - latex leggings and high heels

a rather late post based on some images and info sent over by blackice who was in Liverpool (home of the Beatles) over a weekend last month where he was giving a lecture.

he remarked;

I was spotting super high heels and latex like leggings being worn by an amazing range of women all weekend. It seemed about 3-4 an hour. This was during the daytime and women on nights out in the city centre. It seems the fashion trend for both was really well established there and even saw a group of three teenage girls out for a night in three different levels of glossiness. Super high heels were almost defacto there.

Even one shoe shop had a mannequin in a doll box with pink hair no less. So thought of you as I took a photo. Sorry for the crapness of it was really sunny and bright causing bad reflections.

any other reports to see how this fashion trend isn't dying but expanding around the world? are latex like leggings the new blue jean?

selling fetish on ebay and to the world

there is a lot of it out there and one thing that struck me as i trawl the items on offer in the UK and in Germany is how awful the photo's are. i mean they're selling something really sexy and desirable and they look awful!!!

here's a few recent finds on ebay.de where they totally nailed a perfect photo to sell the item.

this one looks so good i'd buy it and well its pink too. see latex thats not black can look really lovely too now can't it?

these are perfect. so much so i could print them out and make posters from them. this is really how stiletto's should look. a pov that just begs... well begs.. ;-)

latex like dress and not latex. still looks very nice, illustrates it well to the buyer.

and this is a more mainstream advert found somewhere selling mobiles. i feel as zentai suits become more mainstream that ad agencies and tv companies will be using them.

i had a few emails from readers in the UK about a tv game show totally based around the audience wearing them and shaping themselves to fit a moving wall with holes.

here's a short clip - feel free to post more in comments;

a japanese robot model

i am so behind in my updates this is probably really really old news to all you ASFR fans out there.

engadget wrote:

While that perv in the back is busy shooting HRP-4C's firm buttocks shaped from a glossy Stormtrooper alloy, the rest of us can marvel at the fact that Japan has produced a walking, talking fashion robot. Standing at just over 5-feet tall and 95-pounds, HRP-4C, developed by Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, will make its catwalk debut next week at the Tokyo fashion show. The she-bot features 30 motors spread throughout its body with an additional eight motors in its face for expressing general boredom and disgust with the help.

Its main purpose is entertainment and to attract crowds much like its fleshy counterparts -- so don't expect home cooked meals and laundry service should you take the $200,000 robot home. Unfortunately, HRP-4C didn't function as planned today. Reports say that the robot, "kept looking surprised, opening its mouth and eyes in a stunned expression, when the demonstrator had asked it to smile or look angry." Hmm, sounds like a fully functional model-slash-actress to us.

surely there is another aspect to this story that no ones thought of - well besides me of course - the styling of the suit is pretty nice and it wouldn't cost a fortune to make it in various sizes in pvc, lycra or even latex.

hmm... i may have to look into it. imagine combining it with Thrall's ASFR MC hypnosis module and one of those eye-glass visors for the actual programming... and waking up as the robot.

i'll see if Fantastic Rubber can make one of their famous neck entry catsuits like it and add a lock and a key ;-)

is photoshop keeping models going?

here is a series of bitchy articles about British Supermodel Kate Moss where they examine her without make up in real life and how she appears in some new adverting campaigns;

Fantasy and reality: The two faces of Kate Moss

Spotty and blotchy Kate Moss hides make-up free face under her hat

Is this the most shameless piece of airbrushing ever? Kate Moss looks unrecognisable in Versace photo shoot

i do wonder how much the life expectancy of models has increased due to photoshop being so available these days when for example back in the swinging 60's they really could only spend time hiding nipples in see through dresses. it must be a fair bit as Twiggy is back modelling for a major UK chain store.

another thought occurred to me - at what point do the photoshop costs on a shoot start to outweigh the the model costs?

vintage rains boots sought after

i am still on this never ending quest to find a really great pair of latex or rubber high heeled rain boots. so far nothing on the horizon from mainstream stores. the only place i can still find them sometimes is on ebay in europe.

here is a lovely pair i spotted last week on ebay in Germany. they sold for a stunning 167,66 euro's!!! keep in mind their vintage and not new in anyway.

obviously the heels aren't totally tall enough if i am being strict with my 5"s forever goal but it would certainly hold me for awhile till i commit utterly.

i do have some hopes that with the major designers like Gucci making 'fashionable' (and massively overpriced) rain boots that someone will decide to break the mold and come up with a boot that isn't just a Hunter one with logo's or flowers patterns all over it. Patrick Cox had a similar but modern design and sadly those are even rarer and go for far more.

twelve entries only just started

sadly still waaaay behind on the blog; the last couple of months being rather intense work wise. the good news is that i'm over the worst of it and have been paid now which means new latex for me and a new if used Mac Mini.

my old mac is perfectly fine of course as i just do writing on it and it has served me well. the reason for getting it in part as a tax deduction but also since its an intel duo core mac it will "dual boot". what is that you ask? well i didn't even know till i saw someone in a cafe running Windows on a white ibook. besides being very freaky thing to see i enquired why on earth would you want too? the guy responded that he needed to run specialist PC accounting software and this way he could have both.

a penny dropped and something clicked inside me.

OMG - i don't have to get a PC - I can get one of these newer mac's and be able to run Virtual Hypnotist and start to use all the wonderful scripts / codes / sessions Thrall has been exploring for the last few months and getting well - enthralled. she started her journey here if you would like to start from the beginning.

she like me was a hard to hypnotise and has apparently gotten over the hurdles in a major way. if she can do it i can do it. and so another step towards being a doll has been taken....

another curious and good thing from my absentee blogging is that the hit counts have remained pretty constant at about 3,000 per day. i had a look at some of the data and it seems that regular or new-ish readers are now playing catchup on all the entries they missed. not a bad thing at all imho.

an issue of W to get

i missed the recent one that has just a bit of latex in it but will rush out to get this new issue featuring the new Mr & Mrs Willis in highly fetishistic clothing and a dark future shoot.

if its not out where you are in the world then there's sample images and a full article about it here in the Daily Mail in the UK.

wonder if she liked the boots and got to keep them?

also if you have never seen 'W' its a very large format fashion magazine - almost A3 in size so great poster material.

spacey russian music video

i do wonder where they are getting their latex from. latex shops aren't really in evidence here stateside but Russia?

or are they all just mimicing international trends?

a real doll just like her...

well if you think of it, then its really likely that its already been done - or so the saying goes.

here's an example from my 'B-List' of having doll like joints tattoo'd on. btw i'm almost finished everything i set out to achieve in 'A-List'.

they look really good and seem to be just the start. found on the Dollification Forum with not much more information or series besides the label it came from BMEzine.com. if anyone is a member of the zine or group and see other doll like tattoo's then please email them in.

part way into a transformation

thanks to Xu Xu for sending me this image this last week. can anyone tell me more about it? is it part of a series?

i feel its part of a complex medical proceedure and what will the end result be when all the restraints are taken off? human or doll?

can you spot the fetish model?

its to too hard as she's wearing latex.... a give away.

as i think was said in Star Wars 'there's a second'. do you see her?

xx

i love this image

and it dove tails in nicely with a new story on the dolls section of Gromet's Plaza called Alice and written by Hellcat.

Surgery to become her daughter

and it only cost £10,000...

the article starts; With their flowing blonde hair, hourglass figures and slender, toned legs, they could easily pass for twins. Both look fabulous in their matching polka dot dresses and, as Janet and Jane Cunliffe happily recount, potential boyfriends often struggle to tell them apart.

Hardly surprising, as both weigh in at 8st and, save for a couple of inches in height (at 5ft 6in, Jane is two inches taller) and different eye colours (Jane's are brown, Janet's are blue) they are virtually identical.

But Janet and Jane are not twins. They aren't even sisters. They are mother and daughter. And, in what many will see as a depressing indictment of today's youth-obsessed society, Janet confesses to having spent more than £10,000 on plastic surgery in a desperate effort to bridge the 22-year age gap between herself and her daughter.

full article is here.

so i do wonder how much it would be to go further and made into a doll?

worth more model worn

the auction has now ended for the mannequin catsuit and the results are very interesting... it sold for way more than an actual suit would of cost from Fantastic Rubber. a new custom fit one costs 280 euro's and it sold for a staggering 378 euros!!!

thats pretty insane consider Fantastic Rubber makes each one of these outfits made to measure and will only really fit the person its made for. maybe she has a twin sister who secretly has a latex or mannequin fetish?

thanks to a UK reader who didn't actually bid for these new photo's (click to enlarge). the model / seller was happy to provide more shots and at a better resolution to help the sale. though i think my entry for it went some way to sell it.
if you want a latex mannequin suit either with the hood / neck entry or face entry that requires two people then do head to to Fantastic Rubber and order one from them and don't forget to mention your a reader here. the full price just confirmed by the helpful Peter at FR is 280 Euro for the catsuit + slip 25,- Euro + socks 25,- Euro = total 330.

xx

another Daily Mail excuse for fetish news

it goes like this:

Brooke Shields squeezes into rubber stockings and a basque for raunchy photoshoot

and the full story is here. well its not much of a story - its just an excuse to print more photo's of women in black and shiny materials.

i am really beginning to wonder having read through both the Kinky Gerlinky Forum and blog that almost all models and actresses have worn latex at some time.

xx

anime doll suit and hood

looking around in the few moments i've had free over the intensely busy last month i happened to revisit Simon O's webpage and was WOW'd by the new anime styled doll suit they do. they totally got the eyes right too.

here's some of the photo's they sent to me and its already listed on their site as theManga Catsuit. if you want to see it being worn and used in video then pop over to Rubber VitaRubber Vita.

currently they only sell it as a complete outfit so fingers crossed they will make it available separently as well as do different variations on it. the condom mouth idea is great but not sure if i'd want to wear it.

and who knows maybe they'll discover the two new markets of Cosplay and EGL and start making outfits in latex.

xx

one point five million hits!

well it had to happen and it was much sooner than later. the blog has hit an amazing 1.5 million page views and its now averaging about 3,500 hits per day.

it even managed to pass the 4,000 page accesses a day.

now surely there's some latex design companies than would like to be first in place to tap into this interest?? and of course help me convert my daily wardrobe to latex? oooh and maybe a really good mask maker too...

if you're her exact size ....

then check out this model's listing of the famous Fantastic Rubber Mannequin Catsuit. in fact this appears to be the prototype of the suit. (which i still have to write up a long first person experience with - sorry)

now your going to be her size or a bit smaller as she's 165cm high and 78-62-78. note these are CM measurements and not imperial english units.

she wrote;

"The reason why the suit is sold, which he sent me (now) a kick is too small and the pictures are also not too often do in such a suit. Otherwise, the suit was dressed only once and has no damage! These Boots are still a slip of the step concealed zipper. For someone the size fits a unique opportunity! The suit has been washed and oiled!"

i think thats a bad translation in places and that is lubed as oil should never be let near latex as it will corrode it.

auction ends 13.05.09 at 22:00:00 German time. there's already 1776 hits on the listing and its only reached 150 euro's so far.

of course you can skip the entire auction and just buy one directly from Fantastic Rubber. it will fit you like no other catsuit you've owned and you won't want out of it. trust me ;-) also do mention you know about the mannequin suit from this blog so they can track where sales come from.

xx

worth another look

i've noticed that the resolution of youtube videos is now higher. which means its worth revisiting old favourite video links or finding the newly posted high definition ones and using site Catch Video
to download them onto your computer in almost any format you would like - be it for your ipod or your mac.

here's a case in point as found on the Dollification Forum video thread:

i also found that the best time to use Catch Video is either late at night or first thing in the morning. the service is really great and brings youtube to anywhere you want to see it.

enjoy and do post any other ones you have found which are now high def or high resolution.

xx

everything you wanted to know about ...

...Virtual Hypnotist but didn't know who to ask can now be found in Thrall's series of entries VH 101 to VH 105. it starts on her blog here.

seems she's making amazing progress and is well on her way to being her own proper robot drone along with other self improvement enhancements... she's even posted some photo's of her mezmerized self in the last entry and shared the VH scripts for Silver Robot in both female and male versions which you can download directly from her blog and installed with Virtual Hypnotist which is free btw.

if like me you have a mac and don't know what its like then have a look at this rather technical video review posted on youtube:

seeing how well it works with her critical mind makes it ever tempting to try on a friends PC or maybe if it works too well thats not a really good idea now is it?

cheap barbie pink heels take over Britian

In the pink: £9 candy-hued heels prove Primark's biggest ever seller

They're bright pink, they're only £9 and they are the biggest ever seller for discount retailer Primark.

A simple pair of heels is proving a stunning success story amid the doom and gloom of the High Street.

Shoe shopping has long been an emotional crutch for women - and thanks to the Barbie-bright courts, buyers are flocking to the store, with some buying several pairs at a time.

The patent heels have proved so popular, that they are being resold on eBay for up to £22.

The store reported that the fuchsia court had become its biggest ever seller after celebrities including Victoria Beckham and Lady Gaga were photographed wearing similar styles, inspiring shoppers to follow suit and tap into the trend.

continues here.

with a lot of debate in the comments. wonder if they sell latex like leggings too?

xx

yes you too can be Betty Page

for halloween or really any time you like too thanks to this halloween costume from Max Costumes.

only $51.70 and available in three sizes with stocks now running low.

of course to sell it you need the wig and boots. these stunning boots were sent into me from an ebay link and certainly would complete the outfit.

a long leather bull whip and the right shade of red lipstick is also a must.

rubbery music videos

one of which was definitely found by Rubberron and posted on Rubberist.net. the others i'm not too sure about as its been a very hectic two weeks.

and here we have RubberDoll's footage being used as backdrop video for Motley Crew's recent tour.

are they just teasing? rubber in Russia - where on earth do you get it?

enjoy!

squelch... squelch... squelch....

oh no! well best i found out sooner than later.

i wore my latex tights from Libidex under my work slacks to get used to wearing them on a regular basis out of my apartment and well it didn't go too well.

it wasn't that anyone noticed in anyway its just by the time i was crossing a parking lot mid day i noticed i had started to gather a puddle in each foot. it was a nice day and not too hot. apparently hot enough to start sweating inside the tights.

from around noon onwards i was making a squelch sound with each stride. thankfully after one more post lunch meeting which didn't involve any walking i scurried back home praying no one could hear it.

i don't remember having that problem with latex leggings.

new skirts for me

my latex wardrobe is getting larger and larger as the months go by. i'm averaging a purchase a month and at this rate i'll need to get a much large set of drawers or even consider dedicating a closet to it all. i think i need more latex tops from now on.

the latest buys is a heavy weight pleated long latex skirt in black from Elenas Latex. one note when ordering is to check to see if the item is stitched - something i hadn't even considered as so few designers stitch latex. why you ask? simple - if something is stitched it then has no real stretch at the stitched part.

so i put up my hand, bow my head and plead guilty for being a bit conservative on my waist measurement and ended up with a skirt thats also now acting as a corset. well i deserve it and it makes me do more exercise.

the second skirt was on sale on the Skin Two Clothing site and is just a basic light pink pencil style. pull on and pull off and fits perfectly without any need for a diet or exercise. think i'll need on in black too, possibly in a heavier latex but that wasn't on sale.

xx

retro-tastic rubber

i was looking through my list of old bookmarks and happened to find the geocities RubberMac homepage. its really old in web years and geocities is about to collapse so best get a look at it before it evaporates into nothingness.

i have been considering my future latex purchases and some sort of latex raincoat or 'mac' as they're also known has a real calling to me. the black PVC ones are coming back so i think i'll start saving for a decent one in the fall.

for a more up to date, yet not very regular look at the subject then have a peek at 3xl's spin off site fetish rainwear.

i also like to check out the older 60's and 70's styles wether they were casual or 'futuristic' and too that end i was inspired by 3xl's scans of the Canadian latex manufacturer Inn Skin (written up here) to get my former sponsor Fantastic Rubber to kindly make me a pair of pearlsheen purple super wide leg slacks as illustrated in the bottom right of the Inn Skin catalog.

Fantastic Rubber do mainly concentrate on a core designs of catsuits, corsets and leggings but will undertake other orders although it may take longer.

Avril Lavigne was a doll last year

and a living lamp too if the above photo is anything to go by.

thanks to Barbara who emailed me a few of these images which are posted as a complete set here. they were shot by Mark Liddell sometime in 2008. pity there's no doll lines. maybe some photoshop experts can have a go making the transformation complete?

a secret rubber lover?

Amy Adams wants to wear rubber
Bang Showbiz | 04/27/2009 2:48 PM

Amy Adams would love to play a sexy superhero.

The 'Doubt' star is desperate to slip into a tight-fitting rubber outfit in a bid to give her career an extra boost.

She said: "I have never done an action movie but I think it may be about time. A little slow-motion and latex, that is what my career needs right now."

This is not the first time the 34-year-old beauty's naughty side has come to light.

Amy's 'Junebug' co-star Embeth Davidtz recently revealed the actress had a wicked sense of humour.

She explained: "The sweet girl in 'Junebug' is not who Amy really is. Amy's much naughtier than anyone I know. I can't give you examples because they are so beyond X-rated. She's got the wickedest sense of humour and says what nobody else would think so say."

Amy - whose performance in 'Doubt' earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress this year - has admitted she is not as innocent as she looks.

She quipped: "It's interesting to be perceived as innocent. Innocent of what? I'm certainly not naive. I misbehave. I just do it in private."

maybe some enterprising new latex designer should send her a pair of real latex leggings or some such....
