Jennifer Hawkins shows her form

JENNIFER Hawkins may have knocked back the chance to star in the next Pink Panther movie, but she still proves to be a pretty cool cat.
Cementing her reputation as a fashion chameleon, the former Miss Universe will grace this month's cover of the style bible Harper's Bazaar.
The magazine's editor, Alison Veness-McGourty, said: "She may have turned down the role in Pink Panther, but we thought it would be fun to see Jennifer Hawkins star as the pink one.
"So we set about transforming her into something of a pussy cat."
In an eight-page fashion spread in the magazine's October issue, Hawkins' wholesome look is dramatically transformed.
In one photograph, she wears a custom-made rubber catsuit from Reactor Rubber.
In another, she's been poured into a leopard-print cossie.
Hawkins is also featured wearing an exquisite pink georgette party frock by Aussie designer Ruth Tarvydas.
"She really looks amazing, and she was extremely professional to work with," Veness-McGourty said.
Other Australian designer labels to be given the "Jen" treatment in the shoot are Josh Goot and Toni Maticevski, both of which sell at Myer, the retail giant Hawkins is paid to spruik.
Hawkins had been offered the lead role in the next Pink Panther film, but her hectic schedule left her no choice but to turn it down.
Production on the film, starring Steve Martin as Inspector Jacques Clouseau, began last month.
Hawkins, a former Newcastle Knights rugby league cheerleader, is one of Australia's most popular identities, with numerous television and modelling commitments including a presenting gig on Channel 7's The Great Outdoors.
