You know, I really love it whenever you bring up the theme of being permanently sealed in something tight and restrictive ... I just thought you should know.

The permanent thing is pretty much a fantasy and not sustainable. Never having done a vac bed, I am sure the experience is interesting.. especially for those who like restrictive bondage and latex.. a double whammy.

I think what would be interesting would be a vacuum suit which is essentially a catsuit which you connect to a valve and suck all the air out for even a more restrictive fit... where the latex would adhere to your skin and not slide at all. You know many people lube their suit to get in and facilitate movement once it is on. A vacuumed suit would act more like a perfect second skin.

Any takers?

I've got one, they're very very cool but not quite as the fantasy would have it. They leak. The vacuum cleaner (or whatver air pump used) needs to be kept running to maintain the seal, and this overheats in time, and has to be stopped after about 15 minutes. It's noisy too!

I'm not sure how the vac bed entry/exit works, if it a zipper, it could be sealed with black electrical tape, and an air tight valve placed in series with the vacuum so that air cannot leak back in through the turned off vacuum. In fact, the vacuum could be disconnected.

I imagine I could be sealed in the vacuumed bed for 12/18 hours/day. The rest of the time, I would be sealed, but the bed would be inflated with dry air (to help me dry out). I could live sealed in there 24/7 for an extended period. The bed of course would have to be modified to allow catheter, enema, feeding, and breathing tubes. Perhaps the bed also could be sterilized before entry. Maybe a sweat drain would be needed too.

Intubated and hung on the wall with a fancy gold frame, I could live (and be admired by many) as an expensive art object. Earphones would supply hypnotic messages and sounds. What a way to spend a week's vacation!

Maybe, a small air tube could be inserted all the way into my lungs supplying moisturized air and I could live without breathing. Is this possible? Anyone try it?
