Japan - the land of the dolls

i've had some interesting links sent to me from japan and too the people who sent them - thanks.

what i could really use is someone who can read japanse to provide some descriptions of the sites and of course find more too. oh and the descriptions need to be in english just to be clear ;-)

I guess some people need to get a Japanese language pak.

Asudem, I'll help in whatever way I can. i won't guarantee I'll do pages of boring blog translations...

Brad, see my IM. I look forward to seeing Brother Beezlebub of the Church of Satan Reborn giving those poor misguided Christians his sermons on Godfire and Angelstone...

I had forgetten this, but Babelfish will translate (not very well, mind you) Japanese to English. You can even do full web pages if you have the URL.

The problem with Japanese is it has no future tense and is built back to front. Each Kanji can have from 2 to 3 different meanings. everything is very open to interpretation and very vague. machine translation such as Babelfish does really messes up the meaning.

Understood. I tried learing Japanese once. Not very easy. Then you move onto Chinese . . . oh, boy.
