i was looking for something on youtube and came across the transformation scene from the low budget horror film 'the hazing'. as previousl reported on concious object's blog the scene was supposed to be much longer and much more detailed according to the director, but sadly budgets and time restraints in the way.
which has me wondering if there are any other films with good mannequin transformation in them? - besides of course Mannequin 1+2 with Sex in the City star in her early days.
i think i saw somewhere that there was a horror film made in the last year or so with such themes and scenes but for the life of me i can't remember the title.

For what it was, I thought it was a pretty good transformation scene. However, I was bothered by the destruction of the girl transformed into a mannequin but I guess I should have expected that with this being a horror movie and all.
Check out the New Twilight Zone clip I just posted the other day...a slow mannequin transformation that was maybe a little closer to what The Hazing's TF could've been.

Just got a hold of it and watched it ... not really a good movie as such (apart from the fact that I'm not really a horror movie fan), and the doll transformation isn't really that much to see ...
Anyway, the other actress in the silver suit looks pretty cute, too ... very good fit ... and the slightly transparent insets are a nice contrast to the shiny silver ...
