What a lot of hogwash! The increase in high heel sales is merely a seasonal trend, ie people buying party shoes. Run this story at the height of summer and flat sandal sales will have suddenly seen an increase (to quote my shoe shop manager daughter!).
Yes, more sensationalist Daily Mail BS. The trend had nothing to do with the fact that this seasons party shoes have a 1" platform meaning that the shoes have to have a 5" heel; no, it has to be people obsessed with celebs.
Daily Mail is the Enquirer of the UK, so they are going to pump up crazy shit that 99.9% of people aren't going to follow. Wouldn't be surprised to discover this is little more than some celeb's designer friend getting a freebie pimped. Real fashion trend? Please.
Asudem, you can post high heels all day long if you ask me. Whether it's from the daily mail to the daily doll dressed up in latex :)
I really want the unsandals to come back. They were hardly even shoes but they were so amazing.
